K. Backus & Associates, Inc. (KBA) is a boutique real estate consulting firm based in New York City. Founded in 1997, KBA serves as development manager, advisor, and strategist to clients planning or implementing complex real estate projects. Most of our clients are nonprofit institutions. KBA has built a unique practice in higher education, with 15 current or former major university clients. KBA also works with developers engaged in public/private partnerships.
