City University of New York New York City College of Technology: Developer Partnership Retained in 2002, KBA worked with CUNY over a 5-year period to explore the feasibility of public/private developments on multiple campuses to leverage underutilized or excess University property. For City Tech, KBA assisted CUNY to negotiate a transaction to secure significant new space for the College as part of a mixed-use, public/private development. KBA evaluated the development potential of CUNY’s property, helped craft the zoning strategy, prepared a Request for Proposals, managed the developer selection process, negotiated the key components of the business deal, and assisted CUNY to select and retain a top real estate attorney. |
