City University of New York Queens College: Developer Partnership Retained in 2002, KBA worked with CUNY over a 5-year period to explore the feasibility of public/private developments on multiple campuses to leverage underutilized or excess University property. For Queens College, KBA managed a team comprised of an urban designer, traffic planner and zoning attorney to study options for the merger and redevelopment of two parking lot sites at the College. KBA assisted the College to analyze ways of funding the cost of a new parking garage through the transfer of development rights for student housing or office uses above. |
