Edison Schools, Inc. East Harlem Headquarters Project  KBA
served as real estate advisor to Edison Schools over a two-and-a-half year
period for a mixed-use project of approximately 245,000 square feet in
East Harlem that Edison proposed to develop with the Museum for African
Art. KBA assisted in developing the budget, schedule, financing
structure, public outreach strategy, land use approvals, and economic
development incentives package for this extremely complex project, which
included Edison’s corporate headquarters, a model public elementary
school, and a new permanent home for the museum. KBA also helped Edison
to select a development partner.
