Pearlgreen Corporation Bathgate Industrial Park Warehouse and Distribution Facility Proposal From 2006 into 2009, KBA assisted Pearlgreen Corporation, a building maintenance and contractor supply company, to respond to and win a Request for Proposals issued by the NYC Economic Development Corporation for a vacant parcel in the Bathgate Industrial Park in the Bronx. Pearlgreen’s proposal called for the development of an 80,000 square-foot warehouse and distribution facility that would function as the company’s new headquarters. The company was designated in 2007, and KBA has since successfully assisted Pearlgreen in negotiating and signing a contract of sale with EDC, completing its due diligence, and obtaining required public approvals from the Community Board and the Borough Board. Due to environmental issues that were revealed subsequent to approvals, Pearlgreen elected to locate on another site. |
