Polytechnic University Campus Vision Plan KBA was retained by Polytechnic University in early 2007 to assist in the selection of a design team to formulate a vision for its campus, and to manage negotiation of a development transaction with a private developer. KBA managed the architect, Cooper Robertson Partners, and an academic planner, in the development of a variety of scenarios for Polytechnic’s long-term growth that were both affordable and expressed the president’s vision. Analyzing over 20 different growth options, KBA developed a comprehensive financial model to test the capital and operating cost impacts of each enrollment alternative. The visioning team then worked with Polytechnic to narrow the options, refine the president’s vision, and identify a preferred strategy for growth in partnership with a private developer. |
